Well I haven't done one of these in forever! I haven't been very crafty lately and when I was cooking I was making stuff I done before so nothing new to share! But this past week with Valentine's Day I decided to bake something fun for it! So I made some copy cat cookies of Lofthouse Sugar Cookies! They came from this pin here

I think everyone that has some of these cookies loves them! They are soft, light and oh so yummy! They were rather easy to make too which we all know I love when things are easy to make! Even when they easy I always feel so accomplished knowing I have completed another domestic task! haha But anyways, these cookies are yummy, easy and you can make whatever color frosting for whatever holiday/occasion it is! I think next time I make these will be for easter mainly because I found the cutest cookie cutters! If you make these cookies you will love them I promise and everyone you give some too will love you too :)

Hey That's Pin-tastic!

This week I decided to bake something again for my Pinterest project and boy did I pick a good one! I decided to make a Twix Bar Chocolate Pie! It was easy-ish but had more steps then I normally do with my baking because I had to make my own carmel filling and chocolate ganache! I was most worried about the carmel filling but I nailed it! I was scared to death I was going to burn it because it was not turning amber and I was like okay it is going to go some clear to burnt any second now! Luckily it didn't and turned out perfect! I honestly could have just had that and been happy! Also I had no idea how easy ganache was to make! YAY for fancy things being easy! Anyways everyone loved it! Project Pinterest

Alright, everyone who reads this blog should know by now that I'm very obsessed with Pinterest because I'm very much into crafts, baking, fashion etc so how could one not love Pinterest really!? Last week I came across a link up which everyone posts one project from Pinterest that they have actually done! I was very excited to go through and see what people were working on and it is great to see what actually works out for people from Pinterest because some projects are like there is no way you can actually do that yourself! I also love that this makes you do a project and not just pin everything and then do anything with them! 

This week I'm linking up with my first Christmas project of the season! I made a simple yarn wreath for  the hallway mirror. I have made other yarn wreaths but I really like this one because it is simple and classic looking. 

Yes I know I'm ahead of myself with Christmas projects but they are my favorite projects! I'm working on another fall wreath now but I also have started rug hooking a snowman! LOL Yes I know what you're thinking and no I'm not 80 I'm 28! But anyways back to the project at hand, all you need for this project is a wreath form, yarn, glue gun, ribbon (I used wired but non wired would work fine too) and I just bought this sparkly tree at the local fabric/craft store, you could use whatever you wanted of course.

Easy project to do if you're just sitting around watching TV and it looks great plus you can say you made it!
