It is Tunes Tuesday once again and this week I have Jill Barber to introduce you to. I'm sure some of your already know who she is but I wanted to feature her because I really do enjoy her! She has a unique sound and her voice is instantly recognizable. Tell Me is probably my favorite song by her though I love most of the songs I have listened to. I hope you enjoy her as well.

I saw this on Jennifer's blog a few days ago and I figured why not! So here are the ABC's About Me!



Age - 28! I have been liking 28 so I'm not sure how I feel about 29 coming in October
Bed - Just a double! Will upgrade someday probably not in England though tiny rooms!
Chore you hate - Folding the laundry! I will do laundry all day but I hate folding it!
Dog? Yup got 2! Gus (Goldendoodle) and Jagger (labradoodle) They are the cutest!
Essential start of the day - A shower to wake me up!   Favorite color - Pink, yellow and blue
Gold or Silver - Both depending on my mood and what I'm wearing

Instrument - Nothing anymore but I used to play the piano
Job  - Unemployed right now because of my upcoming move to England!
Kids - None! Where do you Live - Nova Scotia for the next two weeks and then off to Merry old England!

Overnight hospital stay - 3 years ago when I had surgery and had to stay 4 days
Pet peeve - Lots! One the just irks me to death is people wearing black jeans as dress pants!!

Yummy food that you make - I make a really good seafood pasta and a super yummy chocolate cake from scratch!

Through my blog travels this week I can across another link up at Ashley's Carnival Ride! Again I suggest going to check out her blog! Her link up is Sunday Social (which she does with Neely, check her blog out too) and here is mine for the week!

1. What is your dream job? Oh! A dream job for me would be a travel journalist because it would combine two of my favorite things, travel and writing. Also being an author would be amazing.  I love writing so actually almost anything to do with that would be a dream job for me but I honestly I would be the happiest person in the world if I could travel and just write about it.


2. If you had just won the lottery and didn't need to work for money, what would you do with your time? I would travel around the world for sure! I would also volunteer with World Vision and hopefully be able to meet my sponsor child. Spend lots of time with my family and friends. Sleep a lot! 


3. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a reporter for a long time when I was kid. When I was in primary school I actually crossed out my name on my backpack and wrote in Connie Chung! I have no idea why I knew who Connie Chung was when I was 5 years old!


4. What piece of career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field? I don't really have a field right now because I have just left my job to move to England. I was in the business world and I have to say I did not really enjoy it and I don't know if that was just because of the position I was in or if I'm not the business/office everyday kind of girl. Advice I would give to anyone in any field though is it is going to be tough to start out but if you find something you love you will excel and do great things in the world. Don't hold yourself back because you don't think you can do it because you can.


5. What are your biggest pet peeves in life, blogging, or at work? In life I hate drama! I'm not in high school anymore so please leave your drama at home because I don't care! In blogging people who hate on other bloggers! We are all out here doing the same thing so stop judging and just support each other.  At work people who wear black jeans as dress pants! Yes we can all tell your slightly faded black jeans are not dress pants! This irks me to no end! 


6. What are your biggest fears? My biggest fears are not accomplishing what I want to do in my life. There are so many things I want to do I don't know if I have time in my life to do them all and do them well. Also sharks, rats and getting into a car accident.

And it if official the Olympics have started! I love watching all the events (untrue but most of them) and seeing how busy the host city is! This year for me it just seems a little bit more closer to home because of my upcoming move to England. Yes, the Vancouver Olympics were amazing and I was very proud but I don't know I feel like the same kinship with these Olympics as I did the Vancouver ones maybe I'm just a little crazy but I like the feeling. Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

Dear Danny Boyle, thank you for making the opening ceremonies the best one yet! I loved it from beginning to end! It was just like a live action movie which is what you set out to do.

Dear Sanity, please stick with me over the next few weeks because I know I'm going to test your limits with this move to England and I know I'm going to need you more now then I have in recent years.

Dear Move to England, Please know I'm emotional and this is going to be a huge deal for me. I will cry more then I want to but I know this is going to an adventure of a lifetime and I'm so excited I get to do it because I know most people won't have a chance like this. 

Dear K Stew, please go away! I don't care you cheated on R Patz and if he does go back to you he is dumber than I thought it was!

I was browsing blogs last night I came across one called Life After I "Dew" I got to her blog from Whitney's blog! She has a great blog so I would suggest you checking it out! She does So What Wednesdays and I liked the idea so I'm linking up with her this week! 

So I guess this week I'm saying So what! If

• I have been staying up until past midnight and sleeping until after 10am! It is like my vacation right now anyways!
• I have already seen Batman once and already have plans to see it two more times!
• I haven't even started to think about what I'm going to pack for my move to England!
• I'm hardcore addicted to Pinterest again! There better be a craft store handy to wherever we leave in England!
• I haven't done my hair since last Friday! It was my last day of work and I have been lazy since then okay!
• I listened to Christmas music this week!
• I don't have a life plan! I'm living out my life the way it should be and the new adventures I have coming scare me and excite me more then anything has in a long time.

And I'm back! No really I am! I have blogs ready to go and I hope you will them! I hopefully will even get into the kitchen sometime this week to make something! Since it is Tunes Tuesday I figured I should give you someone to check out! This week I have Kat Edmonson! I myself have only found out about her this weekend when I was driving around listening to the radio. I think she is great and an easy listen especially for background music. I'm actually listening to her right now as I type this. She has a jazz artist so I find she is perfect to listen to while working and she isn't too jazzy if you're not the biggest jazz fan. I hope you like her too!

Okay I'm really going to try and get back into my blogging everyone! I promise more cooking/baking blogs will come but it is been too darn warm to think of being in the kitchen so I don't have anything new yet but I promise it is coming!
