And I'm back!

Wow! I honestly I haven't been on my blog since February! I hope some of you are still with me! I'm not here to say sorry for not posting because I really just didn't have the time for blogging while I was at school. The semester is over now(well there is one more day but it really doesn't count) so I'm back! I hoping that I can get a better routine down for when I go back to school in September so I don't disappear for months on end. Anyways, I guess I will give you a bit of an update on what has been going on in my life!

Mainly, my life has consisted of school, school and more school! I have to say I have been loving it though. For awhile there I was really feeling down about of a lot of things in my life but going back to school has changed all that! I feel like I'm going forward and I'm really content with my life right now. I have learned so much this semester but there is still so much to learn it is kind of scary! Best and most scary day was last client day because we had to actually cut hair! Until then our client days were shampoos and styles, not cutting! It was scary but we got through 30 clients and everyone left looking good and loving their new do's! I'm really look forward to next semester and getting into coloring hair! I swear it is going to be the downfall of my own hair because I love coloring my hair! I will have some new pictures of my hair as I'm getting done very soon (actually today). Now, what else have I done since I last blogged!? Oh I attended another Crop and Create in Moncton! It was another great weekend of scrapbooking and catching up with friends. I have to say this one was even better than last year because it we were more comfortable this year being our second year there and I become good friends over facebook with one of the main organizer Catherine. It was one of my favorite weekends and I can't wait for next year! I swear I will go to these until they don't have them anymore!

And lastly I got followed by one of my favorite men on Twitter LOL Yes I'm totally fangirling here over Damon Bennett following me on Twitter and he tweets me back all the time! Le sigh!

Another weekend over and another Monday here! This weekend seem to fly by! I hope everyone is having a nice Monday. I can't believe November is half over already! This year is flying by honestly! Before we know it Christmas will be here and then it will be 2014! 

This weekend was a good one. It was pretty relaxing and productive! I think those are some of the best weekends to have really. On Saturday I had lunch out with Erica and did some errands and then came home to get out some more Christmas decorations. I have been slowing bringing everything out since Thursday because I have been cleaning as I was going too because I can't not clean before I decorate! Everything is looking really good. Got most of the trees up and now they just have to be fluffed and decorated. I also watched some curling last night and decided to bake cookies at 10pm lol It was a good Saturday.

Sunday was much the same! More decorating and more curling. It is the Canadian Open of Curling and it is a big event and there was almost no one there! Makes me mad since I would have loved to have been there but it was basically across the country from me. The last curling event I watched too there was basically no one there! I think they should have more events out here in east because it would be packed if they were out here instead of out west. Maybe next season they will have more out here. I love watching curling because they some of the only players who get to be super friendly with each other. It can be the finals and they are often still laughing and joking with each other. If you ever want to check of some teams my favorites are Team Kevin Martin and Team Kevin Koe. Also, check out John Morris because he is super hot hahaha. And in case you're wondering my team Koe won the Canadian Open!! YAY!

I also got all registered for Crop and Create! I'm already excited! I signed up for a class with Vicki Boutin who does amazing projects! It is great weekend in general because of all the scrapbooking I get done and it is just so much fun! This past March was the first year I went and man I was missing out! Erica and myself are going again and we can't wait! And it will be here before we know it! I will actually probably start making page kits in January!

Weekend Update! Crop and Create Moncton!

Okay ladies I meant to have this up earlier today but I'm dead tired from my weekend of scrapbooking! Seriously who knew sitting on your butt all weekend would make you so darn tired! But today I have been laying around trying to get myself back to normal! It was one great weekend though! Well worth being this tired for since it almost didn't happen because of the weather! The weather forecast kept changing so we had no idea what it was going to be like when we woke up on Friday morning but it wasn't suppose to be too much and by the time we were leaving it should be just fine! Well when I woke up in the morning to start getting ready I couldn't see out my front window! We were suppose to get like 10cm of snow but it was more like 20cm! Luckily, it was early and we didn't have to leave for a few hours and the plows were starting go by so we figured we would be good to go! Thankfully, we did get to leave by 12:30pm! But got the first 45 minutes of the drive the roads were not good! We aren't sure how the plows were driving because everyone on the roads had to keep going from one lane to another! But, then we hit where the snow hadn't been and we were clear sailing!! 

Once, we were in Moncton, we got to the hotel where we were staying and where the event was! After we checked in we headed to the conference room to get checked into Crop and Create! That is where we got to first meet Catherine and Jen! Two of the lovely ladies who put this event on around Canada! They are some of the nicest women! We also got our awesome goodie bags! Then, it was time to head into the event and get started on some scrapbooking! Since it was our first time we were amazed at how many ladies were there and how much stuff some people take to a scrapbooking weekend! One woman took 5 trips from her car to the event room!! Luckily, we packed light! HAHA Not really but lighter then most of the women there! There was also 3 stores step up in the event room and they were amazing! They had some of the best products and papers! I could have spent a small fortune there but I was strong and only spent about $45. When I was walking around the stores I heard one woman I had spent 170 bucks and the event just started! I totally understand how she spent that though! The first day of the event, we scrapped a lot and then had a wonderful dessert bar at around 10pm which was a great pick me up! Then, we watched some of the teachers do different techniques, which was very cool and then we did a Make and Take (which is what it says you make something and get to take it with you) We did the Make and Take with Catherine and Leica which was a necklace! It was super cute! Sorry I don't have a photo to show you right now since the one I took is on my phone and I don't have it uploaded yet! Erica and I headed to bed around 11:30 because we were really tired and we wanted to get up early to go to breakfast at Cora's!

Day Two was awesome! We started at Cora's for breakfast then we scrapped all day! Stopped for a nice lunch, had some yummy soup and sandwiches! Then more scrapping! Until we had to stop for dinner! Our waiter at the hotel restaurant was awful! We almost walked out on our bill because we waited almost 25 minutes for it! Thankfully, we weren't in a rush because I would have been livid with him because he basically disappeared! I hate bad service! After dinner we headed back up to the event to do a bit more scrapping before we were heading to our class with Kelly Purkey! This class was a lot of fun! She does some super cool techniques I wouldn't even think of using so it was nice to see different ways to use some the products you have but don't know what to do with them! There was also closing remarks and birthday cake for Kelly Purkey! Super fun time! Then, we had another dessert bar and a bit more scrapping before we had to say goodbye until next year! I have to say the weekend was amazing and I cannot wait until next year for the next one! Thanks for putting on such a wonderful event ladies! It was amazing!!

It's Okay Thursday!
