Random Tuesday Post!

Yesterday I had every intention of blogging but my internet had other ideas! Every time I went to come and blog my internet decided it was good time to cut out so I'm crossing my fingers this will actually get posted today.

I don't have much to say today because I'm in bit of a blogging funk mainly because I keep wanting to do some beauty posts but it has been soooo muggy I can't do my make up the way I want it because it melting off me before I can finish it! I really wish I had AC but what can you do. Hopefully tomorrow I can do something since I actually have to get ready to leave the house! It is one more sleep until Erica is finally home! YAY!! This is by far the longest I have gone not seeing her and not really talking to her that much because of the time change and well she has been on the go! She text me yesterday saying I just saw Wicked without you...what is wrong with the world? We have seen Wicked together like 4 times! So it made us both sad we weren't together. I can't wait to see her and hear all her stories from her travels. 

Well this is kind of a useless blog post. I really wish I had more to say or something more interesting then this but alas I don't so we will end it here for today and I will talk to you again on Wednesday or Thursday :)

13 Personal Questions

Happy Thursday Coffee Breakers! The days are flying by this week! I know it is a short week but this is just crazy! I'm excited for next weekend because I'm heading down to Portland and North Conway for some shopping :) I'm excited! I haven't gone shopping in far too long so this will be a great trip! The only thing I need is new sneakers for working out so yay for fun shopping! Also, I have to say I love a good road trip in the summer! Long range forecast says the weather is going to be nice too :) It isn't bad that I have already started planning outfits right?

My brother got a job in another town! I'm super happy and sad at the same time! Normally, Chase is home all summer because he is on summer break from university but this year he was having a hard time finding work here so he ended up getting a job closer to his girlfriend. I know we will all still get to see him but he starts on June 3rd so I will be away his last days home! Bummer but YAY for his job! He is going to working at a golf course in the Pro Shop and doing some bar tending at the clubhouse. Already miss my baby bro! He is growing up too fast! Man he is already almost 23!!

This is why I don't understand when siblings don't get along! I couldn't imagine not getting along with mine!

Anyways I was over at Bliss to Bean reading some of her latest blogs and she had one with 13 personal questions and I decided I should answer them too! If you don't follow Jenn you probably should her blog is super cute! So is she and her little family. But yes I liked the questions and I didn't really know what I wanted to write about so here you go 13 Q and A with me!

13 Personal Questions:

1. What do you order at Starbucks?

I have a slight obsession with the Very Berry Hibiscus Refreshers right now so when ever I can get my hands on one I will get that and for a hot drink I get a vanilla latte normally.

2. What is one thing in your closet that you cannot live without?

Good pair of jeans, they are a staple in most people's closet I feel.

3. What's one thing most people don't know about you?

Oh gosh I don't even know! Maybe that I was afraid of dogs until I was in grade 5 because of a documentary my parents watched when I was like 2! Yup, they didn't think I was paying attention and then I hated being around dogs! I can't even imagine that now! I love doggies!

4. What is one thing you want to do before you die?

I would like to travel to New Zealand, back to England, Ireland and Scotland.

5. What's one food you cannot live without?

Seafood! I love fish, lobster, mussels, clams Yup anything from under the sea!

6. What is one quote you live your life by?

7. What do you like and dislike about the (You Tube) Community?

I will refer to the blogging community and not the YouTube community here. I love the friendships and bonds you can make with you 'meet' here in the blogging community and it is nice to be able to talk to people who can give advice, know what you're talking about etc. Making new friends is something I love so that is for sure what I love best about the blogging community. 

Now, on the same dime, I hate how 'high school' blogs can be! We all should just be supporting each other in whatever kind of blog you blog the other one has. I think everyone should just be nice to each other and not judge because it might not be the same kind of blog you have. Some people like beauty, lifestyle, travel, sports, fluff whatever just spread the love people!

8. What's your #1 song on your iPhone/iPod?

The number one most played song on my iPod is actually I'll be home for Christmas by Michael Buble! haha! But what I have been playing lately is Serena Ryder and Backstreet Boys' new song!

9. What kind of style would you describe yourself as having?

Basic, Classic with pops of trends and color.

11. Two hobbies?

Scrapbooking - which I love and I'm getting back into since I went to Crop and Create back in March because I had really gotten away from it and I have so many supplies I should really do more of it!

Watching YouTube Videos! - I honestly spend at least 30 minutes before I go to bed watching YouTube videos! I'm totally addicted to them!

12. Two Pet Peeves?

1. People who wear black jeans as dress pants! Sorry we can all tell your slightly faded black jeans are not dress pants!

2. People who don't listen but expect you to hang off every word they say!

13. Guilty pleasure?

Backstreet Boys! Whatever I don't even deny that! I have loved them since I was 13 and I don't think I have any plans to ever stop! I have made the most amazing friends because of the Backstreet Boys and yes I still enjoy their music! Fingers crossed they announce more concert dates so me and said friends can plan a date!

Weekend Update!

Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did! This past weekend I spent my time in Halifax. Myself and my sister headed to Halifax on Friday after she is was done at work. We were suppose to only be going up for Saturday night but since the AUS basketball was going on that weekend, some of Erica's friends were going up for the whole weekend so Erica wanted to see some basketball too and we decided why not make a whole weekend of it! When we got the hotel on Friday, Erica quickly got ready and headed out to the basketball games! I got cozy and relaxed in the hotel! I love hotel living! I curled up and watched some Big Brother Canada live feeds! Go Team Jillian! For anyone that is watching BB Canada I know the house guest Jillian! It is so much more fun watching the show when you know someone lol

On Saturday, we slept in for a bit because that is what you're suppose to do at the hotel right? Then we got ready and headed to the mall for just a bit of shopping. I also met up with my friend Natalie, we chatted and shopped around for bit! Very nice seeing her since I haven't seen her since the summer I think! Then, we headed to another shopping centre for some more shopping! I finally realized I hadn't eaten all day so when we were at Chapters I got myself a snack at Starbucks so I wouldn't pass out before supper!

We shopped a bit too long and only gave ourselves a short time to get ready before we had to head to dinner! But we got it all done and made it to Il Mercato before a huge rush came in behind us! Il Mercato is one of my favorite places to eat! I honestly don't think I have tried anything I didn't like there! So, yummy in your tummy and they have the best white wine there called Spy Valley! It is my favorite and I always get a glass even if I didn't plan on it so I should probably just embrace it and know I will get one each time!

Then it was onto the concert! Serena Ryder is probably one of the best performers I have every seen! Not only is her music amazing she really knows how to put on a good show! If we could have we would have stayed Sunday night too because Serena was playing another concert on Sunday night in Halifax again but alas we couldn't do that! But, I know I have said this 1000 times over but if you haven't listened to Serena Ryder do yourself a favor and go and check her out! You won't be disappointed and if you are we are not longer friends okay. :) The girl who opened for Serena was very good too but I can't remember her name for the life of me and Erica isn't home right now for me to ask her! But she was really good. So, happy we got to see her again! 4 times! Still loving every minute! Hope she comes back again soon!

After the concert Erica went to out with her friends for a bit in their hotel room but I was kinda tired so I opted to tuck in with some snacks and watch curling! Brier time baby! Wish I was in Edmonton! I would love to go to the Brier again! I also may have have the BB Canada live feeds going on too! Slightly addicted! I can't help it! Ended up not getting to sleep until 2am that night and was up at 8am so not too bad but it would have been nice to sleep in longer! We had breakfast plans though!

I met up with my lovely friends Danielle, Deena and Gavin for breakfast at Cora's It was nice to have a catch up with them because I haven't been them in about a month! Wish Tiana could have been there but she was off in New Brunswick for the weekend! After breakfast I headed back to my cousin Callee's place because Erica was off to the last basketball game! I had a lovely afternoon with Callee! I hadn't seen her since like Christmas so it was nice to catch up! Good laughs!

It was a great weekend! I loved seeing everyone and going to the concert. It was a good time whenever me and Erica go anywhere with each other! I hope everyone else had a great weekend too! I don't have anything planned for this weekend so we will see what happens!

What I'm Loving Wednesday...

Hello my lovlies! Sorry I haven't been blogging much lately! I have been away and I just was not feeling it for a bit, I think that it is normal to step back from your blog every so often right? Well it is for me anyways and really it is my blog so I can neglect it if I want to! ;) But lets move onto bigger and better things!

This weekend I headed off to Maine and New Hampshire with my sister (Erica) and brother (Chase) for a shopping weekend away. I know you're thinking your brother went!? Yes Chase loves clothes shopping I have taught him well ladies! We all get along super well and love traveling together so we had a great weekend! I got lots of shopping done, finished Christmas shopping for all the babies in my life! Thank you Carter's and your great deals! Honestly can't believe the great deals I got there. Saw some interesting groups of women walking around the outlets with their devil horns on also saw groups wearing tiaras, bunny ears, belly dancing costumes over their clothes etc I know it is so you can easily found your group but you really look ridic! haha Love North Conway outlets! Also, it was the first time I was in Freeport and what a cute little area! Love their shops and how it was set up! Went there in the evening and it was all light up and just too cute. It was a great weekend! It is weekends like this one that makes me wonder how people don't get along with their siblings because I honestly can say that I don't know what I would without mine.

What I'm loving...

- Red Cups at Starbucks! Had my first one this weekend, they are just so festive!

- that I can openly listen to my Christmas music now without having people judge haha I have been listening for a bit now because I was doing some Christmas projects back in September. 

- the new book I'm reading....Christmas at Tiffany's by Karen Swan...half way through and it is a great read!
