On Sunday I was looking through Pinterest trying to figure out a couple of things to make for dinner this week. I have been wanted to make butternut squash soup for awhile now and I finally found an easy slow cooker recipe. Well, sometimes recipes are too easy. I won't say this recipe was a fail but I will say I won't be using this recipe again. It is an easy recipe but there isn't enough to it! Honestly, all that is in it is onions, butternut squash, a couple of spices, bouillion cubes, water and cream cheese! I also only used half the amount of cream cheese you were suppose to use because if I had of used all of it, the only flavor you would have gotten was cream cheese! I even added more spices just to try and make it less bland. Yes, it was eaten but it isn't something I will make again. I'm looking for another recipe for butternut squash soup so if you have one please send it my way! I really enjoy ones that are made in the slow cooker but doesn't have to be. It looked and smelled really good but just didn't have the right flavor!! If you really want the recipe you can find it here.

I haven't done a Tuesday Tunes in so long! But I decided since I only had basically a Pinterest fail for you today I should throw something else in! Today, I'm giving you one of my favorite artists on the Voice this season. I'm so happy he is on Team Blake now! I'm talking about Cole Vosbury! Last week he did Let Her Go by Passenger and I could listen to that song all day every day! It is a great song and when Cole sings it, it is magical! I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I'm linking up with a foodie link up because I haven't done one in a long time and I made amazing chicken last week! Remember to check out Ashley's and Jessica's blogs...the great hosts of this link up!

If you have me on Instagram or Facebook you saw my photos of my sweet and sour chicken I made last week, it was the best sweet and sour chicken I have ever eaten in my life! I of course find it on Pinterest and pinned it right away but I didn't try it right away because sometimes lots of work/steps makes me not want to do a recipe but finally I decided I needed to try it and boy I wish I had of tried it earlier! 

Prep time took me longer then it said because it was the first time I was making it so it took me more like 40 minutes to get the chicken coated and browned but it was still easy, just a bit time consuming! The homemade sweet and sour sauce is delish! I think everyone would love this chicken. I served it with rice and egg rolls and everyone really liked it! Wish I had of made more to have for lunch the next day! I hope you all try this because it was tasty and pretty easy to make. I will probably make it again next week! Tuesday Tunes and Button Swap!

Another Tuesday everyone! Did anyone watch Brother vs Brother last night (or Sunday if you're in the US)? I rather liked it so far because well I like most things Jonathan and Drew do. I'm not sure which Brother I'm rooting for because I'm not sure which team memebers I like more yet. So, we will just have to wait and see! 

Anyways, it is my last day of puppy sitting and I'm gonna miss my little Belle not that I can't come and see here but not quite the same as being with her all day. Currently she is asleep on the sofa. I kind of have busy rest of the week but I have blogs planned and basically sorted out already so I'm not leaving you hanging. 

This week I'm having a hard time figuring out a song for Tuesday Tunes! I honestly can't figure out one! Hmmmm geez it really should be this hard! Oh because it is only a week away until the new Backstreet Boys albums comes out I will give you In A World Like This!

I swear next week I won't post a video from the Voice! But this week Michelle Chamuel did Why by Annie Lennox and I can't help but share it with everyone! I love Team Blake but I have decided I want Michelle to win. She gives me goosebumps, she makes me smile, hell last night she almost made me cry! This girl is amazing! Good luck Michelle!

I have to say as I type this I have no idea what tune I want to post here today! I feel like I have been listening to the same couple of albums the last few weeks so I don't know what I have new for you! Actually I know I have nothing new for you right now because I honestly have been listening to Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and Tegan and Sara all month long! Okay, now think Brittany who else have you been listening to that you want to share with the blogger world! OH OH The Voice Contestants! I have really been loving the Voice this season and I think some that has to do with the fact that Xtina isn't on it this season. She annoys me to no end on the Voice. Not looking forward to her coming back at all! But anyways here are some of my favorite performances from this season on the Voice!

I really enjoy all the finalists but I just love Michelle and Danielle! Michelle is just amazing and Danielle well she sings a lot of my favorite songs and she is great singer so what is not to like about her! Are you watching the Voice this season? Who are you rooting for?

I was having a hard time today figuring out what song I wanted to use for Tuesday Tunes hence why I'm running a little late today but when this came on my playlist I knew I had found my song for this week! It is Closer by Teagan and Sara! Whenever I listen to this song I have a little dance party! Hope you all like it too!!

I have to say I'm really a fan but I love this one song by Dia Frampton so I figured I would throw it out there this week because I listened to a few times this weekend in between listening to Tim McGraw's latest album which I'm totally addicted too! Hello my lovelies! Here we are for another Tuesday Tunes! This week I'm giving you some Martina Sorbara. I have been listening to her since my second year of university when my roommate Lynn introduced me to her! Basically stole the cd from Lynn until Lynn got me my own for Christmas maybe! She is now the lead singer for Dragonette but I like her better when she is just a solo gal! Here are some of my favorites and I hope you like them too :)

I was watching some youtube videos the other day and I found my new favorite song on one of them! I was watching Tanya Burr's Get Ready with Me video and she had this song playing and I just fell in love with it! Thankfully Tanya is a good little YouTuber and lists what songs are in her videos! This song is called Technicolor by Mumm-ra! I adore the lyrics, the music, everything about this song so I hope you like it too!

Tuesday Tunes!

Since there is a link up I decided I may as well do a Tuesday Tunes with these lovely ladies! This week since I talked about her yesterday and I don't know how many of you know her I thought I would let you have a listen to Jana Kramer. She is a country singer (duh) and she was/still is an actress. She was on One Tree Hill that is where I started listening to her because she started singing on show. I really like her songs, she has some great love songs and some fun party songs! I hope you like her! :)
